Zoo Theme Nursery Letters

Today I went to a baby shower for a friend of mine. When I asked her earlier this week what she needed she told me all about the letters she was dying to make to hang over the crib. She didn't have the time to make them, so I was happy to make those for her shower gift.

It started with a trip to Hobby Lobby to get wood letters, paint and little wooden zoo animals.

Next, I painted each letter a different color (blue, green, yellow and orange) and hot glued the animals in place. I suggested that the momma to be hang up the letters with command strips. 

I love how they turned out, and the ladies at the baby shower seemed to love them too! I can't wait to see them hung up! (PS: How cute is this baby shower cake?!)
