Coffee table redo

On Sunday I shared a picture of an ugly 80's style coffee table that I picked up at a local thift store. 

After the hubby sanded this sucker down for me I painted it black and then I painted 54,789,033.7 coats of red chalk paint over the black. I wanted the black to show through a little and it will as we use it more... But boy was it a pain in the butt to cover. 

However, in the end it was worth it! 

I can't wait to accessorize it!
