Welcome to my Craft Room!

One of my favorite things about the new house is the fact that I have a place for all my crafty stuff. The room would normally be a formal dining room, but since we have an eat in kitchen, it allows me to have a place to work!

This is what the room looked like when we moved in:

After painting the walls, buying new curtains and finding the missing cabinet doors in the attic this is what we have now!

Can you tell I have a lot of crafts going on right now? My table is FULL. But, my OCD kicked in and I had to clean up my room in order to get crafty, so I thought I'd show it off while I can. :)

Anyway, I am so happy with this room. I've always wanted a place for all my stuff.

I love how all of my craft items are within reach and easy to find. I bought the big metal revolver off of Facebook for $40. It's a great place for all my paper, paint and cricut supplies. 

 Inside of cabinets I did a little bit of organizing today. I bought some spice clips with hopes that all my paint would fit in those. Sadly, they are too small, but my bigger paint bottles do fit. I then just put some push pins in back of the door to hold up a rulers and that super cute cross pendant I hope to do something with someday. 

Otherwise, I filled up ziploc bags with like items and used binder clips to hang them from pushpins in the cabinets.

 I love that all my ribbon, beads and buttons are visible using mason jars and vases. 

And today, after all of my cleaning and sorting I was inspired to do some crafting! Just two more weeks until the next craft show. Wish me luck!
