I absolutely can not believe it's already January, but on the same hand I can not believe how much we have gotten done since we moved into this house 4 months ago!
I've slowly been working on my craft room and I wanted to have it done before we moved on to the next project... but my hubby had two weeks off school for Christmas and plunged into re-doing our kitchen during his time off. He did an AMAZING job. (More updates on that later!)
Now, I'm running back and forth and I have no idea what I should do next!
So, today I finally finished getting my craft desk together.
We hung up my huge buttons I bought at a garage sale last summer and my oversized wooden scissors I bought from Hobby Lobby last night. They were unfinished wood, but I painted them black with a silver "bolt".
I found the "Keep calm and get your craft on" Printable here:
The zebra board is a magnetic board! I covered a piece of sheet meal from Lowes (in the plumbing/ductwork section) with zebra fabric. I secured the fabric with spray glue on the front side and then used a hot glue gun to hold the fabric in place around the back of the piece of metal.
Then, I placed the metal in a fame and made some hot pink button magnets.
I LOVE my cupholder under the dry erase board. We had a slat of wood laying in the garage so I painted it red. Then, I covered old vegetable cans in coordinating scrapbook paper. The hubby used metal strapping to attach each can to the board.
Now I have easy access to so much stuff!
Under my desk is a HUGE rubbermaid box that is quickly filling up with craft fair supplies again. My next craft fair is in February, so I'm working full speed to get ready!
Hopefully I'll be able to show off some more later! I'm dying to show ya'll my kitchen, but I have lots of touching up to do! I'll get it shared ASAP. You'll be amazed, I promise!
